We love this so much. It’s an original, fresh and honest voice. Ok so we have a big thing here about ‘brand honesty’. A lot of brands could do with rigorously interrogating their products and product position and finding the honest truth about what is they stand for, be it good or bad – Marmite did this famously with their ‘love it/hate it’ campaigns.
This is a few years old, but we stumbled back over it today and still love it. Spoken word can have its hits and misses, but the scene in London is vibrant and energetic, underground and original. Scroobius Pip merges the mundane with the philosophical. We love its irreverence and its ultimate message – THINK FOR YOU YOURSELVES (although he’d probably hate it being blogged about on a branding blog – too bad).
