We are delighted to see our latest resort project, Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour, is now open. The resort has been developed by Range Developments and marks the first Park Hyatt Hotel in the Caribbean.

All 78 rooms and 48 suites overlook the golden sandy beach of Banana Bay. Sustainably designed with local materials and unique water features throughout, Park Hyatt St. Kitts echoes the island’s rich heritage and culture, and seamlessly intertwines contemporary architecture and colonial design. Each room’s chic décor provides views of the Caribbean Sea and the islands beyond, with luxurious touches such as private balconies and terraces, local artwork, rain-showers and deep soaking tubs. The three-bedroom Presidential Villa is equipped with a private infinity pool, wellness area, personal butler and private chef.

The Great House masquerades as an old farmhouse – an integral building that appears to have matured and evolved over the years with different extensions adding a mixture of styles and functions to offer a completely flexible space.

Timber-clad wall finishes and oversized glass hurricane lanterns remain true to the island’s history with the lattice-work detailing clearly referencing the Caribbean architecture which inspired the design. Central to this space, a large stone fireplace acts as the heart of the house from which the show-kitchen, rum bar, library, all-day dining and private dining rooms can be accessed. Outside in the central courtyard, a large herb garden provides the resort chefs a playground of flavours.

In the Stone Barn, guests are invited to a fine-dining experience within a building reminiscent of the old mills that used to stand on the island. Local volcanic rocks provide an inviting grey backdrop to a giant feature oven, exposed beams and ceiling fans. Exposed wine bottles and barrels add interest to the walls and pops of red contemporary furniture bring further energy to the space.
