Flying in from around the world, G.A’s global Directors met for four days of meetings and inspiration sessions with one aim in mind – to ‘Think Different’.

With offices in London, Budapest, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur, and a team of over 160 people from all over the world, the G.A Group are truly international.

So once a year, the group’s Directors meet to showcase their work, and discuss the future of the G.A Group, this time in Budapest.

This year the Directors embraced Budapest’s bohemian style in the Writer’s Villa – a stunning house with a rich and creative history, full of weird and wonderful artefacts.

We believe that inspiring interiors help to stimulate creative thought. The Writer’s Villa and Studio 7 were two magnificent locations that set the scene for a series of meetings and discussions.

The Writer’s Villa is one of the oldest properties on the Svábhegy, Budapest. A heritage listed property with a fascinating history. The house was built in 1881 for Baron József Szterényi de Brasso, Szterényi started his career as a journalist and wrote several books – displayed in the villa. He was an avid collector and supporter of the arts and was close friends with some of Hungary’s most famous actors and writers.

Studio 7, a stylish and quirky property of faded grandeur. Full of period features, exposed brickwork and upcycled furniture, Studio 7 is part members’ club, part artist studios’ – the perfect spot to ‘Think Different’.

After four days of motivating talks, the Directors returned to continue inspiring the rest of the G.A team to create design that resonates.
