For this landmark property in the heart of Brussels, the team sought to blend its rich heritage with a sense of contemporary comfort. The spa was envisioned as a serene sanctuary inspired by the city’s Art Nouveau roots, while the lobby and public spaces were designed to feel both gracious and inviting, encouraging guests to pause and enjoy their surroundings.

Overlooking the shimmering waters of Lake Fuschl, this historic castle has been reimagined with warmth and respect for its heritage. The design approach balanced the grandeur of the building’s history with a welcoming spirit—rich materials, layered textures, and a natural connection to the surrounding landscape combine to create an experience that feels both refined and familiar.

These nominations are a celebration of everyone involved in the projects from the designers to the craftspeople, hotel teams, and partners whose skill and dedication brought each vision to life.
To be shortlisted as a Designer of the Year finalist is an exceptional honour, placing the studio alongside some of the most respected names in global hospitality design. It is as much about recognising the collective effort as it is about celebrating design excellence.
