LUMIO embodies the brilliance found in simplicity, where history, future and art converge to create a luxury residence that stands as the pinnacle of living in Guangzhou, China.
The architectural design by Aedas and the luxury residential interior design envisioned by our team at G.A Group, transform LUMIO into an art gallery within a residence, where every detail contributes to an extraordinary living experience.
The buildings angled façade with zig-zagging windows, mirrors the motion of The Pearl River while offering breathtaking framed views of the city.

This dynamic design allows natural light to dance across the space, creating a vibrant interplay of light and shadow, reminiscent of sunlight shimmering on water. Each unit is flooded with daylight, cultivating an airy ambiance akin to walking through a contemporary art gallery, adorned with sculptural elements.
Incorporating a unique juxtaposition of materials, LUMIO’s residential units feature bold, sculptural 'Wizard of oz' marble kitchen islands that serve as striking art pieces when not in use.
Complementing this, the organic shapes of the furniture, upholstered in textured fabrics like boule, echo the fluidity of the river, adding a layer of softness and movement. The interplay between the structured marble countertops and the flowing, soft fabrics highlights a sophisticated contrast, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
The river's elegance
Our design philosophy embraces a gallery-like experience, achieved through simple yet thematic patterns and curated art selections that reflect the river’s elegance. The rugs in the living area feature water-like patterns and tones, subtly alluding to the river.
These carefully curated items allowing residents to personalise their spaces while appreciating the artful design.
LUMIO Residences offers exclusive access to the LUMIO Hotel’s premium amenities (opening in 2025), including exceptional dining, a luxurious spa, and advanced wellness facilities—truly the epitome of luxury living.
This project reflects a global collaboration, drawing insights from our residential design team in London, interior designers in New York, and expertise in Shanghai. The result is a residence that not only resonates with luxury but also celebrates the art of living.
