Raffles timeless allure
G.A Group’s mission was to create a world-class luxury destination that not only sets a fresh pinnacle for grandeur and service but captures the essence of Raffles timeless allure.
Our vision was to seamlessly blend the vibrant tapestry of Shenzhen with the effortless elegance of Raffles.
Authentic design elements, characterised by locally sourced materials and finishes, expertly crafted by the skilled hands of Chinese artisans infuse the space with energy and life.
Dramatic arrival
Guests are transported to the 70th floor Restaurant by express elevator.
Midnight blue walls, feature marble floor with bronze accents, alabaster floor lamps and a large decorative parchment screen (a nod to traditional Chinese design), create a dramatic arrival.
Impressive grandeur and lavishness
A full height pivot door leads to the main restaurant. Enhanced with a sleek lacquer finish, the door exudes a sense of impressive grandeur and lavishness with bespoke bronze handles.
The cloud motif takes centre stage as the defining visual language of the restaurant. Drawing inspiration from celestial forms, traditional lacquer and inlaid eggshell panels gracefully capture this essence. Key focal points include contemporary Ming Dynasty chairs and meticulously hand-crafted lanterns, seamlessly blending tradition with modern aesthetics.
The inlaid eggshell panels and panoramic views form a striking dual backdrop.
Beauty of semi-precious stones
Raffles roof club Shenzhen features nine private dining rooms. Each room has a unique design scheme that was inspired by the beauty of semi-precious stones such as: sapphire, jade, and topaz.
Intricately carved cove ceilings, gently illuminated from below, add a touch of timeless elegance.
Expansive ethereal artwork
An expansive ethereal artwork forms the backdrop to the pre-function area. This is accentuated with the gilded lines of the ceiling that conjure the essence of a musical score introducing the Concert Hall beyond
Elegant layers and subtle lighting
A premier stage for the World’s finest artists, takes inspiration from traditional Chinese instruments. The white and moon gold trim ceiling is reminiscent of the fretboard of the ‘pipa’, a pear-shaped instrument that reached a height of popularity in the Tang dynasty.
Elegant layers and subtle lighting are introduced to the wall panels infusing the space with a serene ambiance.
The long bar
The moon goddess Ch'ang O remains a cherished celebration in Chinese culture, and this very mythos serves as the inspiration for The Long Bar.
Walls feature moon gold leaf, intricately embellished with hand-painted constellations. The delicate contrast between softly burnished metals and deep ink black lacquer plays a visual symphony.
A uniquely crafted liquid gold bar becomes the striking focal point of the space.
A mezzanine gallery bar overlooks the long bar with premier views over the city boasting several private lounges with rich and indulgent interiors.
Luxurious and elegant VIP lounge
A luxurious and elegant VIP lounge with a residential penthouse feel. The calm tones of the, gentle curved forms of the furniture create a balance that captures the spirit of freedom and flight.
